We don't usually follow rumors or tech stories closely at Extemeprs.NET, but I bet my friend that if they do announce Macbooks in October then I win. Turns out the rumor blogs did not let me down, cause Engadget posted about the new Macbook event for Oct. 14.
Go patience I almost bought one in September. Now it is my friend who bought computer last week who is crying now.

The Boring Debate

This debate was boring. Let me explain why. Both candidates gave pretty much the same answers on the economy and on security. A Fox News analyst said it best, "This was the downturn of the free market Republican."

What truly differentiated the candidates? Name me 5 different policies mentioned in this debate?

Both claim lower taxes.
Both claim help with health care. (McCain ignoring his free market base.)
Both claim to regulate loaning process.
Both claim to protect Israel.
Both claimed the same policy for energy independence.

They only really had differences on who gets tax breaks and war in Iraq. They do have different views on other issues like abortion, gun control, and how to fix entitlement programs.

All in all don't waste your time if you have not seen the Belmont Debate.

Calif. congressmen ask Bush to review denied medal

A California congressional delegation asked President Bush on Friday to posthumously award the Medal of Honor to a Marine who was chosen to receive only the second-highest medal the Navy can bestow for valor.

The delegation, spearheaded by Rep. Duncan Hunter, sent a letter asking for a review of the case of Sgt. Rafael Peralta, who witnesses say covered a grenade with his body to save comrades on Nov. 15, 2004, during fighting in Fallujah, Iraq. Already wounded by gunfire, he died immediately.

Metro train, bus collide in downtown L.A.

Oooooh, cellphones. Because we all know, they are responsible for everything that happens on the road.

Fifteen passengers suffered minor injuries when the light-rail train they were riding here collided with a passenger bus on Friday, one week after a deadly crash between a commuter train and freight train in a northern district of Los Angeles. A preliminary report by Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies suggested that the bus operator, a mechanic who was test-driving the otherwise empty vehicle, ran a traffic signal as the light-rail train, carrying about 250 people, was leaving the San Pedro Station on the Metro Blue Line near the downtown garment district......Jose Ubaldo, a spokesman for county’s Metropolitan Transportation Authority, which runs the 22-mile Metro Blue Line and the bus service, said that investigators would examine whether cellphones played a role in the accident but that there was no reason to think that they did.

Notorious "self-defense" cat killer Joseph Petcka took the witness stand in Manhattan Thursday, describing his victim — Norman, the orange house tabby — as a raging, rearing, growling banshee.

Norman, his girlfriend's little kitty, brought on his own demise by attacking twice — maybe three times — that night in March 2007, Petcka told jurors.

The tall, dashing, out-of-work actor spoke so dramatically about little Norman's angry "stance" — and about how the cat "lunged" and "reared" and "threw me on my butt" — that for 90 minutes of testimony, it was almost possible to forget that Norman was fully declawed and weighed only 7 3/4 pounds.

Asif Ali Zardari, widower of priminister Bhutto was voted by law makers in two thirds majority vote to become the next president of the only islamic nation to be armed with nuclear capibilities.

ISLAMABAD (AFP) — Pakistan president-elect Asif Ali Zardari faced immediate pressure Sunday to tackle an upsurge in militant violence, as the toll from a suicide blast in the country's troubled northwest reached 33.

Flooding in India

The South Eastern part of the United States has faced marginal flooding and has recovered or continues to recover relatively quickly and easily compared to India and its recent floodings in the state of Bihar. This flood has caused chaos and catastrophy like that of Hurricane Katrina did to the United States.

New Delhi - More than two weeks after floodwaters inundated the impoverished lowlands of the Indian state of Bihar, untold numbers of residents remain perched upon their rooftops, still waiting for help to come.

Earlier today the United states began a raid onto Pakistani soil. Under speculation that there was a Taliban hideout on Pakistani soil. The result of the raid was 15 deathes.

ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) — American forces launched a raid inside Pakistan Wednesday, a senior U.S. military official said, in the first known foreign ground assault in Pakistan against a suspected Taliban haven. The government condemned an incursion that it said killed at least 15 people.
